This encompasses mastering Access Control, securing Classified information, conducting efficient Patrols, generating thorough reports, advancing into supervisory roles, and ultimately readying individuals for management positions.
PASIRA Grades Training Course Content
1. Grade E (Patrol Officer)
The primary aim of this training is to professionally introduce newly appointed Security Officers to the Private Security Industry and equip them with a clear understanding of their responsibilities in upholding the law and maintaining security standards.
2. Grade D (Access Control)
The objective of this module is to educate Security Officers on the procedures for conducting Access Control at egress points while emphasizing the integral role of the 3 'D' principles of physical security in synergy with Security Officers' responsibilities.
3. Grade C (Protection Of Information Officer)
This module is designed to equip Security Officers with a Grade C certification to effectively safeguard Classified information from unauthorized access, respond to emergency situations while ensuring civilian safety, and demonstrate proficiency in risk assessment and professional risk management.
4. Grade B (Supervision)
This instructional module elevates officers to an advanced level of supervision, providing them with expertise in the principles of supervision, conducting On Job Training, managing parades, and the proper protocols for hosting and lowering flags.
5. Grade A (Management)
This educational program empowers Security Officers with the skills to effectively manage a site, gather evidence during accidents and incidents under their purview, and emphasizes the significance of professional on-site interaction and the benefits it can yield.
