Our course content covers a wide range of critical topics, including an introduction to cash-in-transit, the operational procedures and responsibilities within CIT, orientation to CIT vehicles and communication systems, recognizing security threats and vulnerabilities, mastering effective customer service and communication skills, radio communication proficiency, strategies for dealing with traffic challenges, self-defense techniques, report writing, responding to armed attacks, basic first aid, crowd control, inspection of individuals, vehicles, and parcels, as well as the crucial skill of preserving crime scenes and evidence.
The course employs a comprehensive assessment structure, including initial, formative, and summative assessments, which serve not only to evaluate learning but also to actively contribute to its improvement. The course assessment criteria, unless specified differently by relevant authorities, encompass written assessments (40% with a 70% pass mark), language skills assessment (assessing reading, writing, speaking, and participation at 20%), notebook maintenance (10%), deportment (10%), practical assessment (20%), including physical assessments such as the SOPAT Test and Self-Defense Test. Candidates who attain a minimum score of 70% across these criteria are deemed successful and eligible for certification.
